The mountain summer in Sölden presents itself from its most beautiful side and hardly anyone can elude the magic of this region. Majestic mountain summits, a breath-taking view and leisure time activities in great profusion! At the end of August Sölden is the centre of the sports world. More than 4,500 cyclists start at the Ötztal Cycle Marathon.

Passionate mountaineers are spoilt for choice in this area boasting 300km of perfectly signposted hiking trails from an altitude of 1,377 to 3,774m including mountain lakes, mountain huts and mountain shelters. Rock climbing, rafting, mountain biking or Nordic Walking – in this scenery every sport activity is a pleasure. Relaxing and incomparable is a gondola ride up the 3,058m-high Gaislachkogel. The 360° mountain panorama is unique in Europe and sends shivers down one’s spine.
